One of the benefit to start early in the morning (alpine start) is not only good practice for safety but it also give opportunity to experience the change of color in the sky. From the night sky to dawn to sunrise with its array of colors. from the stars bright in the night sky, to the tin line on the horizon to full on, fire on all direction. yesterday September 19 with my friend Hasty we enjoyed and incredible sunrise while climbing Capitol peak one of the most beautiful fourteeners above Aspen. enjoy!
